What is The Sea of Glass and the Chambers in Isaiah 26?
ABOUT THIS TEACHING
This teaching examines whether the “chambers” of Isaiah 26, the “sea of glass” in Revelation, and the throne-centered environment of the New Jerusalem may describe connected realities. The teaching compares the crystal-like imagery of Revelation 4, Revelation 15, Revelation 21, Isaiah 54, Ezekiel 1, and Exodus 24, noting that the redeemed are pictured standing before the throne on a crystalline expanse. It repeatedly emphasizes that Scripture never explicitly says the chambers and the sea of glass are the same structure; the proposed identification is presented as a plausible inference rather than a stated fact. The second half broadens the study to the river of life and the timing of earth’s renewal, comparing Revelation 22 with Ezekiel 47, Zechariah 14, Isaiah, 2 Peter 3, and Romans 8. The teaching argues that prophetic renewal language clusters around the return of Yeshua, while still acknowledging Revelation’s final consummation after the millennium.

TEACHING TRANSCRIPT
Hey, before we get started here, I just want to acknowledge that we made a shift in our microphones today that I thought was going to be a positive thing. Ended up not being that positive and I was lucky that I had my um phone recording at the same time. So that um just in case I had a backup. Well, I needed the backup. And so I apologize for the blotchiness of the audio today. We are working on a solution. Shabbat shalom. Amen. Thank you, Paul. Okay, guys, here we are this morning at the Sea of Glass. Real quick before I jump into the lesson, uh I wanted to make sure that all of the online folks that are watching this on YouTube um know about our website that’s oh, I don’t know, 95 six maybe 7% completed.
We’re still tweaking on some things. Thanks to a couple of the brothers, Michael and Shawn, who have spent so much time bringing this to life. So, I want to encourage you. Uh, if you haven’t seen it, go over to finding the ancient path.org and you should uh see it there. So, we’d love your thoughts and your input uh as well. Also, I forgot to mention one of the members asked before we started here, how do we donate? If you’re willing and and you’re so moved to do that, you can do that on the site. I think that’s working now. So, there’s a place that you can do that on the site. You can also sign up and join us on on YouTube, become a member of the group that way and there’s a Patreon um that you can also donate to as well if you’re so inclined.
Uh just do your search for finding the ancient path. So, the sea of glass, why am I teaching this lesson today? Well, it’s kind of a holdover from last week. Let me read this and we’ll kind of it’ll kind of explain it. Last week when we discussed the chambers in Isaiah 65, we noted that both grammatically and according to the Hebrew lexicon, this term and the word doors consistently refer to real physical locations and are never used allegorically in scripture. That established pattern uh gives us solid reason to understand their usage in Isaiah the same way. Likewise, the words hide yourself were also determined to describe a concrete action that requires an actual place of refuge, reinforcing the conclusion that the passage is speaking in literal and not figurative terms.
With that foundation in place, I then asked whether these chambers were located within the New Jerusalem itself. Glenn number two objected suggesting instead that the references to the sea of glass rather than the new Jerusalem that is also a very real possibility. This morning I would like to build on this discussion by taking a closer look at the sea of glass and examining whether scripture supports the possibility that it is connected to or located within the new Jerusalem itself. And if so, whether this further confirms that the new Jerusalem and the chambers are real constructs rather than merely symbolic descriptions of the spiritual bride of Christ. So that answers the question as to why I wanted to do this lesson.
Just me continuing my study in these things. And so I thought it would be helpful in our process this morning to begin by comparing the scripture, what the scriptures have to say about our quote three places unquote. And we’ll start with the chambers. Of course, we looked at this last week in Isaiah 26. We’re at the coming of Christ. Yeshua says, “Come, my people. enter your chambers and shut the doors behind you and hide yourself until I take care of business. Basically what that says. So then let’s look at the possible comparisons, the possible similarities to the sea of glass and the new Jerusalem. Revelation 4:6 says, “Before the throne, there was a sea of glass like crystal. In the midst of the throne and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes in front and back.” So we have this image if you will a throne whose throne is thrown and around it I imagine is this sea of glass this floor that looks like a sea of glass or a sea of crystal.
Revelation 15. And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God. So here we see the redeemed [snorts] standing on this sea. So I think it’s a safe assumption to to say that this sea whatever it is and wherever it is is a floor is a place where people stand and it’s around the throne. So in my mind I think okay this is the floor that surrounds the throne. Then we look in Revelation 21 in New Jerusalem talking about it saying that it has the glory of God having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone like a jasper stone clear as crystal.
So there’s a similarity to the language about the new Jerusalem that in part lines up with the description of this crystalline like sea of glass. Isaiah 54 likewise. Behold, I will lay your stones with colorful gems and lay your foundations with sapphires. I will make your pinnacles of rubies, your gates of crystal, and all your walls of precious stone. So again, uh in speaking of this new Jerusalem, Isaiah prophesies some similarities. We see the words jasper stone in Revelation and the word sapphire in uh Isaiah 54, which kind of brings up some interesting points or possibilities that I want to look at here this morning. So, what do we see in those verses? Well, we see in Revelation 6 or I’m sorry, was that six or four?
Uh the sea of glass uh like crystal. Revelation 15, like a sea of glass, mingled with fire. Revelation 21, like jasper, clear as crisper crystal. In Isaiah 54, foundations with sapphires. So, here’s kind of our um uh our menu to choose from, our um suggestive thoughts as to what we’re possibly discussing as it pertains to the Sea of Glass. And I wanted to focus on this jasper and sapphire for a moment and posit a possibility. Um when you look at sapphire, this is an image of a sapphire stone and it it could definitely be, you know, misconstrued as a sea. You know, it kind of has that sealike quality. And the blue jasper even more so. When you look at the blue jasper, then it even more so looks like what could be a sea.
If you look at the image on the screen, the background image, the floor there kind of mimics the jasper stone. And if you look at the Jasper stone, you can see these little flares of yellow and orange kind of built in the stone. Could that be what was said about being mingled with fire? I don’t know. Possibly. Unfortunately, in this discussion, we’re going to learn that the text doesn’t just come right out and tell us what is what. We’re kind of uh left with clues in which we can arrive at some possibilities. And you know how much I love the word inference in your Bible study. which I don’t [clears throat] excuse me but in this case we are kind of assuming and on on some level as to what some of these things are but then there’s this revelation 21:21 says the street of the city was pure gold like transparent glass.
So we have a couple of things going on here. On one hand, the transparent glass is similar to crystal. I think most people would agree that a transparent glass would appear to be uh like a crystalline surface. But he also says it was pure gold. Well, when we think of the word street, we automatically think of the street we live on, the narrow single lane or two-lane road that we might live on or that we might travel on. But when you look at the Greek behind this word, it doesn’t mean street in the sense that you and I know the word street. It means something much broader. It means something like a platform, something that might be like the image in the screen, the platform or the open area of the new Jerusalem.
So in in that regard, it changes that verse a little bit. Revelation 21 should say or more closely say the the the platform or the open area of the city was pure gold like transparent glass which then kind of gives me this idea in my mind something like this. And remember revelation 15:2 said that this is where people were standing. So, they were standing on this golden sea of glass. And what did these guys see when they were talking about jasper and sapphire? Well, I I mean, I don’t know. Could it Could it be that this is one of those situations that when depending on which angle you’re looking at it from that it might kind of look bluish or seaish or goldish? I don’t I don’t know. I wish the scriptures were um more explicit in in this regard so that we could have, you know, solid answers, but it it’s not.
And it’s fun to look at this stuff and try to figure out what’s what and make sense of the clues that the scriptures give us. So this is the image then adjusted based on revelation about the um crystalline golden streets so to speak. So the similarities the new Jerusalem and the sea of glass share several explicit textual features in scripture. The parallels are visual and material and I want to break them down real quick. here on the box on the left is pretty much what we just looked at. Uh so I’m not going to go over all of that again. Both are described as crystalclear. The language of the crystalline nature is in both the sea of glass and the new Jerusalem. So both are explicitly described with crystal clarity and glass-like transparency.
Both appear in the immediate presence of the throne of God. For the sea of glass, Revelation 4 says, “Before the throne, there was a sea of glass in New Jerusalem.” He says in chapter 22, “He showed me this pure river of water of life, clear as crystal proceeding from the throne and from the lamb.” So, why did I put that verse in there? In in my research for this, I as I almost always do reach out to trusted men of God who are much smarter than me uh who are uh scholars in their own right. And I try to pick their brain to find out, you know, what what they think this is. And one particular brother seemed to suggest that what the people are standing on here isn’t doesn’t necessarily have to be let me I don’t want to put words in his mouth but the way he spoke of it he said it doesn’t necessarily have to be that they are standing on something solid like a granite floor or a solid gold floor.
It could be that what they’re standing on is this water that’s flowing from the throne clear as crystal and maybe perhaps that’s why it has this look of a sea in the minds of the prophets and yet can still be golden. Is that a possibility? It’s a possibility. So that’s why I shared Revelation 22. Revelation 21, the throne presence of God and the lamb is inside the city. Okay. So, what we’re talking about here as it pertains to this sea of glass is all happening in the presence of the throne. It’s a safe assumption to say that the throne of Yah is inside the city. So then they have that similarity. Both scenes are thrown centered environments in John’s vision, which potentially goes to support the idea that these chambers, whatever they are, is indeed this sea of glass where people are hidden away for a time until Yeshua lays waste to his adversaries. both function as a platform where the redeemed stand or dwell.
We’ve talked about this a bit already uh with the sea of glass. Revelation 15, we’ve already read this verse twice. They’re standing on the sea of glass and the new Jerusalem. Revelation 21, the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light. Where where are they walking? They’re they’re walking on the same pl in the same structure, if you will, the same location, if you will, however you want to put that. So, in both scenes, the redeemed are positioned in relation to the structure and are active in Yahw’s presence. And then both e echo Ezekiel’s throne vision. Ezekiel 1 verse 22, over the heads of the living creatures was the likeness of an expanse like the color of awesome crystal. So here Ezekiel is also seeing whatever this is the sea of glass.
The crystal firmament above the cherubam parallels the sea of glass before the throne. The crystal clarity of the new Jerusalem. So what’s the similarity? All three share the same crystal expanse imagery around God’s throne. All the things I’m teaching you or sharing with you this morning [snorts] are not the kinds of things that are going to make you walk away and just blow your mind. Matter of fact, this morning as I’m sitting here having my coffee with my wife, my wife asked the question, “What are we what are we teaching on this morning?” And I told her and she said, “How is that going to bring me closer to the father? What in your lesson is going to give me more faith and bring me closer to the father?
Well, it may it may or may not. Um, if nothing else, I’m kind of giving you a glimpse into my study and how I arrive at things and the conclusions that I arrive at. Are my conclusions always right? Uh, no. They they are not. Uh, and anyone that says that they are is probably lying to you. Most definitely lying to you. But I’m I’m just trying to make sense of things that I don’t understand in scripture. Like Isaiah 26. I’ll never forget the first time I read that. I thought, well, wait a minute. What are these chambers? And when you start trying to compare that moment with what we see in Revelation, in my mind where I end up with, because I’m a linear thinker, believe it or not, I’m I’m I’m the kind of a person that that doesn’t really rest until I have some type of solution to a matter.
And the only solution I can come up with as it pertains to these chambers is the sea of glass. So the strongest scriptural conclusions are these. The sea of glass and the new Jerusalem share the same crystalline throne environment. The sea of glass functions as the transparent expanse before Yos throne. The new Jerusalem contains the throne and a transparent golden street or area or platform. And finally, one that we have to intellectually admit if we’re going to be honest is that the scripture never directly states that they’re the same structure. And we can’t get around that. It’s this is a a hypothetical guess. It’s it’s uh it’s something that I’m putting out there as a suggestion that these two may be the same even though scripture never directly states they are the same structure.
Now, having gone this far, I want to kind of open it up to brother Snow and Brother Springfield and get your thoughts. Maybe you have them, maybe you don’t. If you have a question, maybe you don’t. Either way, floor is yours. So, it it feels like this is a fulfillment um typology for God’s architecture. This is just my thought. It feels um you know, in Exodus 24 when um God revealed his sapphire uh pavement um to Moses and and Aaron and uh one other person, I forgot. Um which was a glimpse of his glory. Um it it it this feels like you know that was a type and this is an anti-ype or well it was this is a fulfillment of an architecture related u depiction of of the throne in in in you know new Jerusalem or heaven is what we would say but just just a thought like so we had a glimpse in Sinai um and here is is the fulfillment and it it seems to be architecture related is my thought.
Okay, thanks Tim. Play number two. Well, um, yeah, this is this from my view, this is a a complex subject that, you know, we could talk about for an awful long time, but I agree with Tim that, you know, the first instance of this uh vision was in Exodus 24:9. And that’s when the 70 uh went up with Moses and Aaron to to where where they could see God and they weren’t struck dead from it. So that that shows us that it was in fact a vision. It wasn’t real because we know that from what Yhovah told Moses that if you if you see Yhovah, you’ll die. So we know that this was a vision. Uh similarly in uh revelation 21 I I think it’s clear that this is not a physical thing. It’s 1,400 miles high. So it goes way way way above our atmosphere.
It’s 1,400 miles. You’re talking about the New Jerusalem. It it’s a it’s a cube. Yeah. Yeah. New Jerusalem is you know it’s a cube. Now uh it’s clear that it’s built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets and the entry is through the the 12 tribes of Israel each gate. So if if you uh compare all of that to uh who are the first fruits who are standing on the sea of glass and how did they get there? What was their foundation? What was the gate? Uh to me this this is all spiritual. Now how do you how do you describe a spiritual reality to a physical human being? Well, I would pose that it’s like a a a baby a a fetus inside the mom that is unborn. How do you describe the world before they’re born? before they can see anything, before they have their senses, you know, we’re unborn members of God’s family.
So, we can’t possibly uh understand what what’s unknowable. So, I see this um as visions, you know, of of uh the prophets, visions that were given to John, clearly visions in in Revelation. It says that’s what it was. And so he wrote what he saw, but what he was seeing wasn’t real. What he was seeing is visions of heavenly things. Um, in Revelation 21, this is after uh uh in Revelation 20, it says that the heavens and earth fled away and there was found no place for them. And then in in Revelation 21, it’s describing the new Jerusalem coming down out of heaven, this massive cube. And you know, it says it has no temple. Um, you know, because it is the Holy of Holies. It’s it’s a giant cube that’s made up of people that are born into God’s family.
Okay. So, uh, thank you, Glenn. So yeah, I think it’s it’s no secret that Glenn, I don’t know if it’s the right word, kind of spiritualizes this stuff instead of it being a real quantifiable location, if that’s the word you want to use. Yeah, I think it’s real. I mean, obviously, but I in my study as of late, Glenn, this may surprise you. I don’t I don’t think the New Jerusalem is 1400 miles high. unknown. Uh well, we’re not going to discuss it today, but I I’ll maybe I’ll bring it around some other time and explain why I I believe that. But needless to say, um these are our scriptural conclusions of the sea of glass on what the scriptures have to actually say about these issues. So, where did this lead me?
Well, believe it or not, we discussed this last week about the new earth and the millennium and that kind of stuff. Uh, it kind of brought me around full circle in my study and I didn’t want to I didn’t want to be remiss in not sharing some of these things. Last week, we discussed the timing of the new earth. I put forth some evidence suggesting it comes after Yeshua returns. And some of you suggested that there was a limited new earth happening as a result of the living streams of water flowing from the throne. Uh and Glenn’s position of course is that it happens chronologically just as Revelation says in at the end of the book. Uh however, I wanted to kind of bring up some things. Here’s our verse in Revelation 22 where he saw this river of the water of life.
There is crystal proceeding from the throne of God and from the lamb. In the middle of its street on either side of the river was the tree of life which bore 12 fruits. Each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall no more be a curse, but the throne of God and the lamb shall be in it. And his servants shall serve him. They shall see his face. His name shall be on their foreheads. There’ll be no more night there. They need no lamp nor light of the sun. For the Lord gives them light, and they shall reign forever and ever. So, okay, we’re we’re looking at this river of life that’s coming from the throne, clear as crystal proceeding from the throne of God going down surrounded by trees that whose leaves are for the healing of the nations.
Uh so that that tells us that this is all happening during the millennium and the nations obviously definitely need to be healed of course. Then we have Ezek E Ezekiel’s uh vision of this that I wanted to go through real fast. Uh we’ve again read this in the past, but we’re going to do it again. He brought me out by the way of the north gate and led me around on the outside of the outer gateway that faces east and there was water running out from the right side. There was a man went out to the east. And when the man went out to the east with the line in his hand, he measured 1,000 cubits. He brought me through the waters. The water came up to my ankles. Again, he measured 1,000 and brought me through the waters.
The water came up to my knees, so I was going deeper and deeper. Again, he measured 1,000 and brought me through. The water came up to my waist. And again, he measured 1,000 and it was a river that I could not cross. The water was too deep, water in which one must swim, a river that could not be crossed. He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen this?” And he brought me and returned me to the bank of the water. And when I turned there along the bank of the river, there were many trees on one side and the other. Then he said to me, “This water flows toward the eastern region, goes down into the valley and enters the sea.” Which sea? We’re going to figure that out in a second. When it reaches the sea, its waters are healed.
And it shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever the waters go will live. There will be a very great multitude of fish because these waters go there for they will be healed and everything will live wherever the river goes. It shall be that fishermen will stand by it from the engeti to enlim. They will be places for spreading their nets. Their fish will be of the same kinds as the fish of the great sea, exceedingly many. But its swamps and marshes will not be yielded. They will be given over to salt. Why? I wondered. Is there some beneficial benefit to the salt, the mineral salt? Not sure. Maybe Glenn has an answer. Along the bank of the river and on the side, this side and that will grow all kinds of trees used for food.
Their leaves will not wither. Their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month because their waters flow from the sanctuary. their fruit will be for food and their leaves for medicine. Okay, what are we seeing here? This is during the millennium. I think everyone would agree that that’s the case. And what are we seeing? We’re seeing in both of these visions this water of life streaming from the throne. And what’s the throne? What’s the water doing? The water is bringing life. As the scriptures say in red, every living thing that moves wherever the rivers go will live. Does that mean they’re resurrected? Maybe. Yes. If it’s dead and you know, as a result of the tribulation and this water flows over them, they come to life.
Everything will be healed. Everything will live wherever the rivers will go. So that’s the language here. So what what can we say? We can say that there is something new coming from something dead, something alive coming from something that had been killed. Okay? So this is a regeneration, if you will. Some have suggested that this is a partial regeneration, that the full generation doesn’t happen until the end of the 1,000-year period. And so, there are some out there scholars who would say that the new earth comes in three stages. Well, two really big stages or I should say the earth in itself is three stages. First stage being the earth that we live in now that eventually gets passed away.
And then this temporal this medium regeneration that happens during the millennium and then the final gen regeneration that happens at the end of the the millennium. That’s in the mind of many people. I struggled with that. I think what we’re seeing here is the new earth coming back to life right after Yeshua comes. And I’m going to show you again why. I tried to do that last week, but in my studies, I came across more verses. So, backing up a little bit, here’s one subtle difference in what Ezekiel sees versus what Zechariah sees. Ezekiel sees this water. What water? The [clears throat] water that’s flowing from the throne towards the eastern region. If you look on a map, the eastern region would be to your right.
Goes down and enters the sea. I put the word dead there because that’s the only sea east of the temple. So, it goes down into the dead sea. When it reaches the sea, its waters are healed. How do I know it’s the Dead Sea? Well, he goes on to say later on that there are going to be fishermen there from Engeti to Ed and Elimin. Well, if you look at the map, those two places are coastal cities on the Dead Sea. So, this water that’s flowing towards the east is going in to the Dead Sea and every living thing that moves will come to life. It says there at the end of Ezekiel, their fish will be the same kinds as the fish of the great sea. Well, that can only that can only mention the Mediterranean, which is to the left, which is ironic because when you look at the book of Zechariah and what he sees, he sees the water going in two directions.
And in that day it shall be that living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea, the Dead Sea, and half of them toward the western sea, which has to be the Mediterranean in both summer and winter. So I have a little picture there to kind of give you some idea as to what that uh might look like. And then of course we have throughout scripture this talk, this prophecy, this discussion of these fountains of living waters from Joel. A fountain shall flow from the house of the Lord and water the valley. Isaiah, broad rivers and streams. Again, Isaiah, I will open rivers and desolate heights and fountains in the midst of the valleys. Chapter 43. I’ll even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. 44 I will pour water on him who is thirsty and floods on the dry ground.
Psalm 36. You give them drink from the rivers of your pleasures and from with you is the fountain of life. Why is this happening? Well, I couldn’t help but remember that the new earth is going to be edic in quality. It’s going to be the restoration of Eden. And what did we have in Eden? There was a river that went out of Eden to water the garden. And from there it parted and became four riverheads. So there is some speculation that even though Ezekiel saw one and Zechariah saw two that there could be four if it’s going to be kind of a repeat of what happened in the garden. Okay. So that’s that’s makes me think that that makes me wonder whether or not this is just a partial new earth as some suggest if if it’s going to be performing basically the same thing that the Edenic rivers performed in that it was life to the planet.
Then how is this going to be any different? Is it going to be different? Is it going to be localized or not? I don’t think localized because once that water hits the Mediterranean Sea, it’s now global. You can reach any sea in the world from the Mediterranean. And that’s going to travel. That’s going to bring life back to the planet as a whole. So, that’s my thinking and I’ve got to kind of show you in a nutshell here how I’m arriving at that with some new things new to me that I studied this week. When you look at Revelation, when you look at John’s vision in Revelation, he says, “I saw a new heaven and a new earth.” Not a third, but a second. there’s a singular new heaven and a singular new earth.
The scriptures don’t tell us anywhere that there’s a transitionary period or that there’s a um a moment where the earth is temporarily restored and then fully restored at the end of the millennium. No, he saw one heaven, new heaven, and one new earth. And then he said, “For the first heaven and the first had passed away also there was no more sea, for the former things have passed away.” So I ask, why did John see the new heavens and the new earth according to that verse? Well, the word for in Revelation, as I’ve taught you so many times, it can be replaced is synonymous with the word because. I saw a new heaven and a new earth because the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. So I ask myself the question, when does the first heaven and first earth pass away?
Because these things are happening one after the other. Well, we look in first Peter 3 and we see this. I have it blocked off for a reason because I want us to answer the question. What day is this? Peter is saying the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night. Tim, what day is that a reference to? And when he comes back, the when he comes back, the second coming of Christ, the second coming of Christ, Glenn, number two, would you agree with that? I think it’s the bold plagues preceding the second coming. You [snorts] think it’s the bold plagues that precede the coming? So Yeshua is not going to come like a thief in the night. The BS are coming like a thief in the night. No. But the day of the Lord, yes, the day of the Lord is the year of recompense when God puts out his wrath.
And so the day of the Lord is is described with with the um the the trumpet plagues and finally the seven last plagues, the bold plagues. Does it include his coming at the end? Yeah. So it does include his coming. Okay. So the day of the Lord, no matter what’s happening in that time, because as Glenn said, there’s going to be a lot happening at that time around the world, becomes uninhabitable. Yes. So this day, this wrathful day of the Lord is synonymous with his second coming along with all kinds of other nastiness. Peter [snorts] says, “The day of the Lord, that time in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise and the elements will melt.” So that’s the day, that’s the time that this earth, this heaven and earth passed away, okay?
With fervent heat, both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which, what’s the coming of the day of God? That’s the second coming. Because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat. That’s the first heavens and earth passing away. And John said, “I see a new heaven and new earth because they have passed away. Nevertheless, according to his promise, we look for the new heavens and new earth.” So in this verse, I go, “Okay, so in in Revelation 21, John says he he sees this new heaven and earth as a result of or because of this new heaven going away. this this old heaven and earth going away.
Peter says that the day of the Lord is the same day that this happens. So are we connecting the dots to me? I go he he’s talking about basically what this is saying is there’s there they come one after the other. Now, am I saying immediately, the very next second or the very next moment or the very next hour? I have no idea. The scriptures don’t tell us that. But we do get the idea from this verse and others that I’ll show you here in a moment that it’s pretty fast after the passing away of heaven and earth, the first heaven and earth. We see it in Romans 8. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly awaits what? The revealing of the sons of God. Glenn, when are the what’s the revealing of the sons of God?
When does that happen? I I would say, well, you and I probably have disagreed, but I would say that that’s the resurrection of the first fruits. And I am 100% agreement with you. Yeah. It’s just when [clears throat] that happens is where we might disagree a little bit. Yeah. So, that’s the revealing of the sons of God. That’s the first fruits. That’s the That’s the first resurrection. When does that happen? That happens at Christ’s return. Well, what does Paul say here? The creation was subjected to futility like humans were. Not willingly, but because of him who subjected it in hope. Because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of God.
At the same time when the sons of God revealed are revealed because the creation is eagerly awaiting their revelation them being revealed also the earth the creation itself will be delivered from the bondage of corruption. It happens at the same time. The revealing of the sons of God is when the earth [clears throat] will be delivered according to the language, the simple language of Romans 8. Isaiah 30, there will be on every high mountain, on every high hill, rivers and streams of water. That’s the same rivers and streams that we’ve been talking about that happen when he returns or after he returns in the day of the great slaughter when the towers fall. So these regenerative rivers and streams that are going to be bringing the earth back to life happens in the day of the great slaughter when the towers fall.
When does that happen? Isaiah 2, the day of the Lord of hosts shall come. That’s the second coming. upon everything proud and lofty, upon everything lifted up, and it shall be brought low, upon every high tower, and upon every fortified wall. So again, we see a in and again my mind, this is just at dos. I’m not saying thus sayeth the lord. This is just me and what I see in my Bible is that these things are happening one after the other. one after how long after the other I don’t know nobody knows but pretty fast if we were to look at these scriptures and ask when when does the new earth happen? Are we going to be living in a thousand-year period where the earth is a mess and and coming back to life year by year by year or is it going to start the process immediately?
So, here are my concluding thoughts and boyed being in the fast. I can’t wait to hear all of your questions and thoughts. [snorts] Scripture never explicitly identifies the chambers of Isaiah 26 with the sea of glass seen by John. Yet the cumulative textual pattern keeps the possibility open. Isaiah 26 presents prepared protective chambers associated with the moment when Yeshua rises to punish the inhabitants of the earth. A scene always tied to the day of the Lord. John’s visions in revelation spa place the victorious standing upon a crystalline expanse before the throne in a context of divine judgment and deliverance. Thus, the biblical data shows a recurring heavenly platform associated with both protection and theophony.
The texts do not demand that the chambers and the sea of glass be the same structure, but the thematic and visual convergence makes the identification textually plausible. At the same time, the broader prophetic timeline repeatedly associates the renewal of the earth with the appearing of the Lord rather than exclusively after the thousand-year period. Isaiah 65 introduces the new heavens and new earth within a context where death and birth still occur. Isaiah 66 connects the Lord’s fiery coming with enduring new heavens and earth. Romans 8, like we just looked at, ties earth’s liberation to the revealing of the sons of God. At the same time, Revelation 21 does present the final consummation after the millennium.
Yet the prophetic witness as a whole shows a strong pattern of earth renewal language clustered around the Lord’s appearing. Therefore, while scripture stops short of explicitly equating the Isaiah chambers with the sea of glass, and while Revelation preserves a final consummation after the thousand years, the weight of prophetic testimony leaves open a possibility, a coherent possibility in which a new earth renewal begins at or very near the return of Christ with the final perfected state arriving. diving afterward. That is my concluding thoughts on the matter and I will say no more of it and open the floor for the rest of you. Um, and I know, let me just say this before I open the floor to whoever wants to share.
Laura’s got her hand up, so we’ll start with Laura. I I know that when you see these things, it can sometimes feel weird to not look at the book of Revelation and go, “Well, so you’re telling me that it’s not happening exactly the way it’s written.” I know that’s the t that’s the tendency that’s the temptation to feel like, okay, so why why shouldn’t I understand it exactly the way it’s written? For this reason and this reason alone, harmony, synthesis. When you read something in the book of Revelation that doesn’t or in your mind fits a paradigm and then you read something in some other book like Isaiah or Zechariah that doesn’t seem to match up, it’s our responsibility to synthesize those two verses somehow.
You’ve heard me talk many times about unity. The answers are always there. The father is not going to leave us hanging on super important stuff. He will leave us hanging on everything because there’s no way we could know everything until the day that we are resurrected when all things are known. But you have to try to synthesize these things. And in my singular perspective for me, for Ed Doss, the only way I can synthesize what we’ve been looking at these last two weeks is by adopting some type of a thematic approach to the book of Revelation. Not to say that it’s wrong. There’s nothing about the book of book of Revelation that’s wrong in any way, shape, or form. We know that theologians have tried to say in the past that the prophets were wrong and John is right.
Well, that doesn’t flow with me either. We have to have we have to have uh unity in in the scriptures. So, with that, we’ll stop. Uh Laura had her hand up before you, Glenn number two. So, let’s let Laura go first and then you can come behind her. Go ahead, Laura. The first thing I want to say is thank you for giving such meticulous information to us so that we can really like think about what’s really going on. You really you really provoke questioning a lot and and that’s really good cuz I got a lot of them. But I want to stop from the end and go backwards. First thing I want to know is the revealing of the sons of God that you just mentioned. Are they the revealing of the wicked fallen angel sons of God?
I mean like what is that? What is that telling us? The revealing of the sons of God. What is that exactly mean? Do we know? That’s a that’s the revelation of the first resurrection. The people who will be taken in the first resurrection. That’s got nothing to do with the fallen sons of God from Genesis 6. Didn’t know that. And and then thank you. And then another thing I was wondering um about was could we use Job’s experience like all of these bad things happened to him in one day uh as a um like a what do they call like a shadow picture of like the things to come. So this this this and this is happening but it all happened in one day. That was another question that I had. you you could, but I guarantee you that what the earth is going to experience in the tribulation will be a lot worse than anything that Job experienced.
No doubt. Um I I don’t doubt that. But I’m saying as far as the format of the the happening in one day you guys were talking about a partial thing um in in uh when you were talking about Ezekiel. Um where the heck did I lose off? Uh oh, yeah. When you were talking about that, I I was thinking about uh could we compare that to the time when like Job experienced all those things that he experienced happening one after the other like um you’re [snorts] talking you’re talking about typology. Yes. And I think you know maybe maybe that’s a fair that would be a fair typological event. Uh I haven’t given that much thought um quite honestly Laura so I don’t know I can give you an educated answer but it’s it’s possible.
Okay thank you have one more big question. Sure of glass which is what this whole thing is all about. Could the sea of glass possibly be the construction uh above that’s described as the firmament? Because it describes it as hammered out containing the expanse or the waters above the third heaven. And uh why and then the other questions I had was why would Nimrod try to build a high tower to kill God if God wasn’t on the other side of the structure known as the firmament? Um because it’s an architectural structure according to the scriptures that was hammered out by yote vave. Yeah, I can tell your little brain’s going crazy, isn’t it? So the firmament uh is the firmament you’re talking about is not the same firmament that’s being spoken of here in the sea of glass.
Okay? So don’t confuse the two. Yes. The standing one. Do you know what I’m saying? And it’s it’s clear. And so wouldn’t that structure that they’re talking about um uh in Genesis the okay the firmament it’s it’s a structure hammered out hammered out. What’s hammered out? Gold is hammered out. So this the picture that you had with the all the gold on the floor and it was you could see through it that you’re saying that those are two different things. I mean, like, isn’t God right above us? When you say two different things, are you talking about the the firmament that you believe is around the earth now versus the firmament that is mentioned here in the Bible in this sea glass? Are you trying to connect the two?
Is that what I’m Is that what I think I’m hearing? I’m thinking yes, I’m thinking that they could possibly be the same. I could I’m thinking that um these um the floor is the ceiling of our atmosphere. I’m I’m asking Glenn if he has thoughts on it. Do do you have thoughts on that? I I short and concise thoughts. Yeah, that that I don’t think the two are related, Laura, but we can definitely explore that possibility uh later on. Let’s um let’s take a pause on that and give some other people a chance just to share some things and then come back to it if we can. Okay, Glenn number two, you’re up. Okay. Um good morning again everybody. I I would like for everybody just to consider a few things. Um one is is that the purpose of Revelation is to reveal those things that shortly will come to pass.
If those things aren’t sequential like the alphabet, if you know you if if you see A happen, you know what comes after A in the alphabet? Well, that’s B. And then what happens next is C. And so what you have is a sequence of of proof that God has predicted exactly what’s going to happen and what that sequence is. If you start the al alphabet with Q, then you have no idea what comes next and it defeats the purpose of revelations. The revelation of Jesus Christ is to reveal to his saints those things which will shortly come to pass. Now there are no inongruencies in prophecy. And so when we run across what looks like an incr inongruency, we have to just say okay, we don’t understand that. So for instance, the assumption that u in 1 Thessalonians 4 uh where the first fruits are resurrected that that happens simultaneously with the return what we call the return of Yeshua.
Well, we know that that doesn’t happen simultaneously. We know that Christ meets them in the air. But we also see a little later if you take it sequentially, we see that the the saints, 144,000 are on the sea of glass with Christ preceding the return of Christ. And so, okay, now we got a clue. And it’s putting all these clues together is how we understand u what Christ is saying what will shortly come to pass. So you look at the seals roll out. The seventh seal consists of the of the trumpet plagues. The seventh trumpet plague consists of the bold plagues. But it’s not till the end of the bold plagues that Christ returns. And at the end of the bold plagues, you know, the earth won’t sustain life.
Everything that creates oxygen has been wiped out. So, you know, the world has to be renewed. But then, you know, when when you read in Revelation 20 about the eighth day, Satan is released and all of a sudden the earth, you know, we don’t know how long the eighth day period lasts, but we know that the earth uh gets all jacked up again. So, it has to be renewed again. How do we know that? How do we know that it gets all jacked up again? Um, if if you read Matthew 25, then you see that Christ is separating the sheep from the goats. And if and if you see the he’s separating the sheep from the goats, you know, by using uh pictures of you didn’t you didn’t come see me in prison, you didn’t feed me when I was hungry, you didn’t do all these things.
But we know that uh the the utopia that is in the millennium isn’t there at that time because they’re saying, “Well, where did we see you in prison?” Well, in the millennium, there are no prisons. There is there are there is no sickness. There is no poverty. It’s, you know, the the land of of real abundance. But once Satan is released, then he how long does it take him to turn the hearts of a large enough army from the four corners of the earth to come attack Jerusalem? You know, Satan’s released again. And he’s he’s doing what Satan has always done. And then it’s only after that. It’s only after Satan, you know, for the millennium, Satan is incarcerated. But at the end of the eighth day, he’s put into the the lake of fire.
He is no more. His influence is no more ever again. And that’s where you see uh it it’s a different time, but it says, you know, now at the great white throne judgment that there was uh the heavens, the earth passed away because there’s no place found for them. So a everything happens after the great white throne judgment. Well, that’s when uh sequentially physical life uh you know is is over and then you see the new heavens and the new earth. And I can’t wait to hear your your uh reasoning on on why the dimensions of the new Jerusalem, but but I didn’t say they were wrong. Okay. [laughter] But but you can see that’s clearly clearly um in my mind it’s just just so clearly symbolic because it’s built on the foundation of the apostles.
Well, it doesn’t mean their dead bodies are under the foundation of New Jerusalem, you know, and and so it’s it’s you know, and the gates are, you know, you you’ve got entry Sure. through. And so that’s clearly symbolic of the new Jerusalem. Sure. And since Paul made such a giant case that we are the temple, well, how do you describe, you know, the 144,000, the first fruits, and then those that are also brought into God’s family uh uh during the 8th day period. Well, what is that group of people? Well, they’re God’s children. So, Glenn’s comments are predicated on a couple of things that I am not 100% on. One of them being that the uh first resurrection and 144,000 are the same. I don’t agree with that.
U and I think he knows that. You may know that. Uh I don’t believe Matthew 25 tells us that the earth’s going to be a mess by the time uh Satan is let out and does his thing. Uh I believe the scripture tells us that that battle over Satan will be decisive and fast. uh I mean literally very fast. So there’s a and then I think also Glenn is is and I’m not faulting him for that. I’m just explaining uh the differences in our perspectives here. Glenn is is is held to a strictly strictly strict strict strict strict a more strict [laughter] um linear approach to the book of Revelation. that’s that’s what he’s believes and that’s what he’s hanging on to and that’s that’s completely fine. But it’s you you need to know these things to understand where he’s coming from when he talks just like you need to know my stuff when I come to you and talk to you.
You you understand the background. So I just wanted to make sure that was understood. Um okay so next up is Daria Shabbat shalom. Um I just want to say one one thing that is deeply in my heart. Uh these days uh there are many like um even in our chats uh occurring uh statements or uh video videos from YouTube where about the antichrist or who is this who maybe this you know like Prince Char King Charles now or this one this one. I want to say that as for the revelation this is all mystery to us and we will not know until it all happens that until it happens that this is the truth. So for me most important thing is to search my own heart and to know what is in father’s heart to you know to know the father’s heart then I’m not really interested about who is the antichrist but I want to know what is the father’s heart uh and the same is with this team like the the the glass the sea of the glass and things like as your as your wife said uh what it is uh like will it get me closer to God?
I mean if we don’t have a certain revelation from uh from Yak like Apostle Paul had when he he was in Arabia then we will we will never find out you know there are people that argue with this one there are people that agree with this one what is about you know the antichrist or sea of glass but I just want to say let us uh focus on the things that really matter to us to be those who will uh have our hearts on fire for God because all of us can be deceived and there is written in the Matthew 24:24 that even the chosen even the elect one could be deceived. It it was allowed. So they people are already being deceived with these many uh me anti- messiahs and anti-profits going on now this these days and how much more then when the true anti- messiah and true anti uh false prophet will be uh on the stage.
So that’s what I want to encourage each of us each of us to to to to search the father’s heart and to really be honest and humble before him to have a fear of God and not to really um focus more on the things in the revelation that are really mysteries to us but to focus on the things that we can um that will that will uh move us more towards God and his truth. That’s what how I see it uh in my heart. Well, amen. Thank you, Daria. Appreciate that as always. And yes, I I agree. Okay, let’s see. Brother Luke, you’re up. Shabbat shalom, Ed. Shabbat shalom. Mishbaka. Um, my standard approach to scripture is to filter everything in the New Testament through the Old Testament. So even though John was given a new revelation, uh I basically think that he was summarizing everything that the prophets had already said.
Um if you look at Ezekiel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, Malachi, Zechariah, they’re all pretty much on the same page. And all John did was basically give it a put a new light on it, but it’s a light on it just the same. [snorts] Um, I mean, when I when I read the New Testament, and I read Paul’s letters, I have to filter all of it through the words of our Messiah. Otherwise, his words can be completely taken out of context, which is what exactly Western Christianity has done for the last 1700 years. They’ve taken his words out of context and they’ve given his words new meanings. So uh and [clears throat] uh to to Laura Nordella uh revealing the sons of Yah uh his angels uh kings of the earth. I would recommend reading Psalm 82.
And if you’re interested in some some extended uh context on that, I I strongly recommend Michael Heiser and his teachings on that subject. So, and that’s enough out of me. Thank you. Thank you, brother. Appreciate you. Okay, Mr. Barnes, you’re up. I I hear what you’re saying, but I would ask, how would you reconcile this with what the master said in in Matthew 24? um verse 22, but I’ll start at 21. For then shall be great tribulation, such was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. This is KGV. And then verse 22 of chapter 24 says, “And except those days should be shortened, there should be there should no flesh be saved, but for the elect’s sake, those days shall be shortened.” When I read that, to me that would suggest that it’s not catastrophic to the point that no life exists on the planet that some life will be spared.
So that that goes at odds with that understanding. Then you have this in the book of Revelation chapter 9 verse 6. And in those days shall men seek death and shall not find it and shall desire to die and death shall flee from them. Now that can be taken a number of ways. But if you’ve been following a lot of the technological advances that supposedly are going on with the transhumanist movement, you get a sense that it’s possible that people can incorporate certain things into their body. I’m not certain if this whole thing with conscious consciousness transfer is is an actual thing that will exist that could place them in a position or a situation where death doesn’t come easily. So you’ll have some that would want to die based on the conditions of the world and on the judgment that’s falling but death doesn’t come.
So that’s something else that that we would have to consider. And then lastly you have what what Paul said that we should not all sleep. Some of us are actually going to see the return of Messiah with our fleshly eyes. So to me that would suggest that some of us are not going to end up dying and being placed in burial plots or whatever is going to happen to us but some of us are going to survive and this is I would think in addition to the 144,000. So the 144,000 have a specific purpose and they have a specific song that they’re supposed to sing. But you do have others that are in the body of Messiah who are a part of the the covenant that don’t fall within that category. So those are just some things to consider.
Shabbat shalom. Amen. No. Thank you. Uh I have a I have Did you want to say something? Let me let me go first and then you can jump in there. Um I have a a I can’t remember which lesson it was that I taught this Samuel uh some months back. I don’t think it was an end times, but we ended up on an end times issue nonetheless about the people who want to die but can’t. Um, the position that I took on that uh was that right, the beast when he comes along, the antichrist, he’s going to be offering to humanity the same thing that Yeshua offers. He is the antichrist. He is the the other door that looks, you know, that’s supposed to look just like the the true Christ. And I believe eternal life is one of those things uh via his own DNA via, you know, it’s going to be a re resurgence of uh Genesis 6 where he offers his DNA to people who want to take the mark.
I believe the mark’s going to be more DNA focused than a tattoo on your arm or your wrist to your head. And that DNA is going to give them eternal life. It’s going to give them what he’s offering. And that’s why they can’t die when they seek death. And and that’s why those people are tossed into the lake of fire where they’re going to be there eternally because they can’t die. That’s my that’s my take on that. Um on that one issue. Could be right, could be wrong. That’s just what I think. U Glenn number two wanted to respond to your comments about the 144,000. Go ahead, Glenn. Hey, Samuel. Um, I agree with with everything you said, but I’ve lost your telephone number, so if I’m in your contact list, uh, send me a text.
I will. Oh, and and um by the way, brother Ed, when when you were saying that they would take the DNA, there’s a certain high-profile nefarious infamous person who supposed to be dead but probably isn’t dead who was working with certain individuals um in the Ivory League Towers. Um and their plan was to use their DNA and to have it spread. I won’t mention that name, but I think everybody knows who I’m talking about. I’m not saying that that person is who were saying that it is, but I just find that interesting. Okay. So, thank you, Glenn. Thank you, Samuel, for those of you who shared your thoughts. Any questions? We have a little time to go here. Um, anybody hear something today that brings up a question in your mind?
Um, if you want to, we can discuss what’s going on briefly with Iran, Israel, and the States if you have questions there. Um, so I’m just going to leave it up to the floor here and see what’s what. See where the spirit leads us. Nobody. Wow. [snorts] Okay, guys. Well, let’s just say this. Let’s just say we’re going to end a little early today. And um we have Passover coming up. Several of you have have emailed me going, “What’s the plan?” Well, we don’t have a group plan to speak of, but uh we will talk about it as we get closer. Uh maybe even um next week. We’ll see. But that’s coming up. So, be planning on that. There is uh if you are of the mind of the Abib calendar um I have an online calendar that I can send out if you’d like.
If you’re following some other calendar then you I’m sure you’ve got you’re all set in that regard. Um and what else? I think that’s it. Well, look guys, looks like we’re done a little early. As usual, I am very grateful for all of you who come and listen to us ramble on about these holy things. Um, let God be true and every man a liar. I will take that to my grave as should you. And, um, pray that you have a fantastic Shabbat and a wonderful week. And if you want to talk more about this stuff, feel free to shoot me an email or, you know, ask questions. As many of you have already noted, we are on Telegram, so you can find us there. Several people have migrated over to WhatsApp. I didn’t create that, but some members did and they’re there.
So, you can sure I’m sure you can find them there. Um, and then of course the website finding the ancient path.org. Check it out. We’d love to have you visit. Give us your thoughts. Give us your opinions. And as always, I love you. Glenn loves you. So happy to have you guys here. Have a wonderful Shabbat. Okay, now it’s the Now it’s the the reckoning.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
- The sea of glass is presented as a real throne-centered place or expanse on which the redeemed can stand.
- The sea of glass and New Jerusalem share crystal-clear, glass-like, throne-centered imagery.
- The teaching considers the New Jerusalem’s “street” as a broad open area or platform rather than only a narrow roadway.
- Ezekiel’s crystal expanse and Exodus 24’s sapphire pavement add earlier biblical parallels to the throne imagery.
- Scripture does not directly identify Isaiah 26’s chambers with the sea of glass; the teaching treats the connection as a textual possibility, not a certainty.
- The river of life in Revelation 22 is compared with Ezekiel 47 and Zechariah 14 as a source of healing and restoration flowing from Jerusalem/the throne.
- The teaching argues that earth-renewal language begins at or near Yeshua’s return, while acknowledging a final perfected state after the thousand years.
- A major study principle emphasized in the teaching is harmony and synthesis: difficult passages should be compared across the whole of Scripture rather than isolated.

QUESTIONS ANSWERED
QUICK ANSWER
The Teaching presents the Millennium as a literal 1,000-year reign of Yeshua the Messiah that begins after His return, the first resurrection, and the judgment associated with the Day of YHWH. The resurrected faithful reign with Messiah as priests, judges, and administrators, while mortal survivors and their descendants remain among the nations.
Life during the Millennium is pictured as dramatically restored: long life, peace and security, secure homes, healing, abundant provision, direct teaching from YHWH, worldwide righteous rule, a peaceful creation, and worship centered on Jerusalem. The nations continue to exist and go to Jerusalem to worship the King, while the saints reign with Messiah.
A major question explored in the Teaching is when the “new earth” begins. By comparing Isaiah 65 with Revelation 20-21, the Teaching proposes that renewed/new-earth conditions may begin shortly after Yeshua’s return and therefore be experienced during the Millennium, rather than beginning only after the thousand years.
Key Scriptures
Revelation 20:1-6 – Satan is bound for a thousand years; those in the first resurrection reign with Messiah.
Daniel 12; Matthew 24; Jeremiah 30 – The millennium follows an unparalleled period of tribulation and Jacob’s trouble.
1 Corinthians 15:50-54; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 – The faithful dead are raised and the living faithful are changed at Messiah’s coming.
Isaiah 26:19-21 – Resurrection, chambers, hiding, and judgment are placed together in the prophetic picture.
Isaiah 65:17-25 – Long life, houses, vineyards, children, mortality, peace in creation, and a renewed Jerusalem.
Revelation 21:1-27 – New heaven, new earth, New Jerusalem, nations, kings, and restricted access to the holy city.
Isaiah 11:1-16 – Messiah’s righteous rule, peace in creation, regathering of Israel, and a highway for the remnant.
Isaiah 2:2-4; Micah 4:1-4 – Torah and instruction go forth from Zion; nations learn YHWH’s ways and war ceases.
Zechariah 14:9, 16-19 – YHWH is King over all the earth; surviving nations go to Jerusalem to worship and keep Sukkot.
Ezekiel 47:1-12 – Healing waters flow outward, restoring life and abundance.
1 Corinthians 6:2-3 – The saints are described as judging the world and angels.
Revelation 20:7-10 – After the thousand years Satan is released and deceives the nations again.
QUICK ANSWER
The teaching presents a possible connection between the Sea of Glass in Revelation, the chambers of Isaiah 26, and the New Jerusalem, but Scripture does not explicitly state that they are the same thing.
Revelation describes the Sea of Glass as a crystal-like expanse before the throne of God, where the redeemed are seen standing. Isaiah 26 describes YHWH’s people entering chambers for protection during a time of divine judgment. The New Jerusalem is likewise associated with God’s throne and is described using remarkably similar imagery—crystal, precious stones, and pure gold like transparent glass.
When these passages are compared with Ezekiel’s crystal expanse and Exodus 24’s sapphire-like pavement beneath God’s feet, a consistent picture emerges of a glorious, throne-centered dwelling or expanse associated with God and His redeemed people.
Therefore, the Sea of Glass and Isaiah’s chambers could describe connected aspects of this same heavenly or New Jerusalem environment, but the teaching stops short of declaring them identical. The biblical evidence makes the connection plausible, not certain.
Key Scriptures
- Isaiah 26:20-21 – The people are told to enter their chambers, shut the doors, and hide while YHWH comes to punish the inhabitants of the earth.
- Revelation 4:6 – A sea of glass like crystal appears before the throne.
- Revelation 15:2 – Those victorious over the beast stand on the sea of glass mingled with fire.
- Revelation 21:11, 21 – The New Jerusalem is described with crystal-like brilliance and a city platform/street of pure gold like transparent glass.
- Revelation 22:1-5 – The river of the water of life proceeds from the throne of God and the Lamb.
- Isaiah 54:11-12 – The restored city is described with sapphires, crystal-like gates, and precious stones.
- Ezekiel 1:22 – An awesome crystal-like expanse appears in Ezekiel’s throne vision.
- Exodus 24:9-10 – Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and the elders see beneath God’s feet something like sapphire pavement.
- Ezekiel 47:1-12 – Life-giving water flows from the sanctuary, deepens, heals the sea, and supports abundant life and healing trees.
